Questions and Answers
Paw Paws Pet Sitting     Lakewood, Colorado

How does pet sitting work?
I make visits to your home to care for your pets.  You choose the number of visits needed per day.  I will also provide house sitting services at no extra charge.

Who will be visiting my pets?
I am the owner and primary pet sitter for Paw Paws.  My husband, George, is my partner.  If for some reason we are unable to make a scheduled visit, I will arrange a qualified back-up pet sitter to complete the service.

How do I get started with Paw Paws Pet Sitting's services?
Simply schedule a complimentary Meet & Greet appointment.  I'll come to your house to meet you and your pets, answer any questions you may have, get the feeding and care instructions, and fill out the Client Contact Information form. At this time, I will also need a copy of your house key.

Are you insured and bonded?
Yes.  Paw Paws Pet Sitting is fully insured and bonded by Business Insurers of the Carolinas.

Do you provide references?
Yes.  I will be happy to provide you with references.

Can I drop off my pet at your home?
Unfortunately, no.  I will visit your pets at their home.

What happens if my pet becomes ill while I'm gone?
In an emergency situation, I will transport your pet to your veterinarian and notify you immediately. I will also contact you if I notice any changes in your pet's behavior.

Can you give medications?
Yes.  I'll be happy to give medications, if possible.

How do you manage house keys?
I prefer to keep a copy of your key at a secure location.  This makes it convenient to book future services.
